The intro page for Identiverse, taking place on the day of a certain person's funeral. (Of course I'm not at all sure you meant this as any kind of foreshadowing, but am curious whether you're going to eventually lead back to that point.)

Makes sense. I guess my sense of the dramatic was getting a little carried away. It's funny, I find that intro to be so sad - I guess we like to think of our heroes as riding off into the sunset to be forever young, happy, and in love - instead of getting old and dying like real people.
