You know you've been doing art-history too long when you can look at a painting and immediately go "that's by X", read the caption and discover it IS by X. (X in my case being Titian...)
I like the Titian, but I doubt I could know it was him at a glance. I can do Monet pretty well, and Van Gogh (possibly because they adorn nearly every freshman wall in the US? Buffy was not exaggerating there). I get Titian and Rubens mixed up sometimes.
