They're making a new Highlander film.

They're casting four new Immortals for it.

You have three guesses as to who I'd like to see play one of them (preferably one who's going to actually live to see the end credits!).

Yeah, I know the chances are lower than the profile of a snake with a hat on, but I can dream...

If it happens...

..I'd only watch it if his character ends up taking MacCleod's head. (I'm spelling that wrong, I'm sure. I'm just not sure I care....)

MacLeod - no double c ;)

It's very much on the go at the moment; they have a director and they're working on script and story - so the film IS going to go ahead. The only question is if any of the pre-existing characters are going to pop up to link it to the existing continuity or not.

The character who's most likely to show up is probably Methos, just because Methos can be slotted into just about any story and any time frame.

Any particular reason you have it in for Mac? (I'm presuming you mean Duncan and not Connor, here)

Mac ... yum ...

I just hope that they'll put Adrian Paul back into long hair; he looked so much better than with the modern-style haircut of the last season!

I meant Duncan. I'm holding on to my Archangel grudge from the series a little too tightly. (I didn't see it, it didn't happen... oh, never mind....)

Really, though, I'm much more likely to see it if Davis/Panzer aren't involved. I mean, if an actor wants to leave, fine. If you want to kill him off, fine. But please, please, don't do it by plot contrivance.

So really, I have it in for Duncan's writers, it's just he's an easy target.

I've officially been away from Clan Denial enough to have lost the spelling disorder. I didn't even join and I caught that. (-8

Ahh. A member of Clan Denial. I see.

Suddenly, it all becomes very, very clear...

I never officially joined--I just hung out around them because I agreed with them.

But you get the idea. (-8

*chuckles* Was it just that you disliked that they killed Richie off, or did you loath the whole of season sucks...er...six + Archangel?

Honestly? Archangel had me so upset, I didn't watch it again. I knew Stan Kirsch was leaving, but really, there were better ways to write him out.

Including a bloody K'immie. Possessed Duncan?! I'm sorry, after Richie nearly got beheaded the last, what, two times, you'd think Richie would have his sword handy,

Oh, by never? I meant rarely. My roomie in college forced me to watch the Claudia Christian episode for CC. I only agreed because Mac wasn't in it. And I was later told the Methos and Joe ep was good and caught it in syndecation. But other than the occasional rerun, I really haven't watched it since.

My main problem is if it's all Duncan all the time? I'm bored. Seriously? You'd have a better chance getting me to pay attention during Sentai footage--I'm really bad about that. :)

*chuckles* I know what you mean. OTOH, the show IS called Highlander and that would be Duncan, y'know - it's sort of the point.

I would say that out of season sucks...er...six, if you haven't already seen 'em, you should try and get to see To Be/Not To Be, the very last eps of the series, cos they are pretty good and entertaining, and yes, Indiscretions is DANG good (I'm a Methosian myself...).

Oh, and if you haven't seen 'em, you need to see Comes a Horseman/Revelation 6:8, particularly, the directors cut versions that are on the season 5 dvd (purely, you understand, to see the horror that were the wigs in some of the flashbacks...!)

If I see a way to rent those, I'll watch them--they weren't bad episodes (the aired verisons).

But I don't buy Highlander DVDs for two reasons: 1) There's other stuff I want to spend my $$ on.

2) I dont' want Davis/Panzer getting any of said $$, so...

But yeah, if I find them for renting, I take it's worth around $4-$5?

I'll see if I can figure out where TNN Spike hid Highlander and keep an eye out for that ep.
