I'm off on my vacation tomorrow, heading for the sunnier (hopefully!) climes of Western Pennsylvania.

To ID'verse fans reading this: I grovel for not getting closer to finishing Five by Five. Until 3pm last Friday, I had no work to do this week. Then on 3pm Friday, I got a site which had to be written in three days...

Happy vacationing! Hopefully Ivan won't drop some rain that far north :) Should be awfully pretty this time of year, anyway.

*catching up*

Heh, I should have been so lucky; we got Ivan all day first Saturday. I mean it was pouring TORRENTS of rain. Not so much on the wind front but oy, such rain!

The rest of the time, I was flipping between shorts and jeans - we were up into the 80s.

So unless that's your idea of awful... ;)

PS Have duly bought season five from Best Buy; will duly enjoy the commentaries *grins* (Didn't know you were an HL fan ;))

Buckets of rain, eurgh. Having these storms sweep in all summer has affected the weather even this far west-- it's been much wetter and cooler than usual. In fact, I don't think it's topped 100 since July.

Which means we've got obnoxious little midges thriving and biting everyone. :P

Go S5! There's just so much stuff to check out, I still haven't gotten through anything but CaH, R6:8, and MP. So you can tell where my interests lie.... *g*
