Less With The Annoyance...

athersgeoWell, the good news is the server flu SEEMS (imagine flashing neon lights around that one) to be fixed. It came down to a client entering complete bs in something. *sigh* My boss isn't going to be terribly impressed when she finds that out tomorrow.
The other good news is that I spoke to my little man at The Link (his name's Nick and he's done an absolutely bang up job for me here) and the end result is I should be getting a voucher for a new handset within the next seven days. And (for anyone reading from customers suck), this was all resolved with zero ass-hattery on my part. (Unless you count phoning the store on two occasions - once yesterday and once again today - to find out what was going on; and as I was polite/pleasant/non-accusatory/appologetic I don't think that can really count as that asshatty.) Provided said voucher does materialise, I think I may well be doing a post in Good Service about this whole experience - to say nothing of buying The Link Cribs Causeway a box of chocolates and a thank you card...
