My neighbour has a burglar alarm. It is the old variety, with a bell rather than a siren. It went off last night, after midnight. It woke me.

It then kept me awake a good hour before the neighbour's father arrived to turn it off.

*props eyes open with match sticks*

On the writing front, the next installment of Without Love is up and shiny and I'm hoping to write some more of it today.

Checked ff.net when I saw this, and sure enough there was a chapter from you. The Author Alert isn't working. Again.

I reviewed but it said it was busy - then said I already reviewed... *sigh*

They did say they were going to be doing some maintenance work this week. Perhaps they started early. And yes, there is a phantom review - I see 17 registered but only 16 on the review page (and yeah, I've been bored enough to count!)

Sometimes you can get it before it comes up on the review page if you go in the backup function when logged in. (And yes, I've been bored enough at times to figure that one out.)
