...do not watch movies with cousin. Cousin wants everything explained there and then and isn't prepared to wait until the explanation comes up in the course of the film narrative.

*headdesk*

On the writing front: Got little bits done but nothing major. Today's the 'free' day, so I'll have another try at Silverhell.

Or, I might try something different. I did get a smallish inspiration the other day for the long awaited third part of the trio for Mother's Boy...

Labyrinth - and then X-Men (which we'll be finishing tonight).

Oh, Labyrinth. One of my favorites of all time. David Bowie in tights, oh yes.

*grinning* Ooh VERY yes :)

Question: How much of the film can you recite, from memory and drop randomly into conversation (whether or not it's appropriate)?

"That's not fair!" Which is frankly almost always appropriate.

The "through dangers untold" speech, complete with "damn, I can never remember that line!". And "You have no power over me" goes to the cats when they're begging for scraps.

And it would be nice if my boss could be Prince of the Land of Stench.

*laughs* That bad, huh?

Me, I quote Hoggle on all occasions - in fact, I think I quote Hoggle more than I quote the Rogues and Wraiths (and that's saying something!)

I also quote The Hat - in particular "Ah nuts" and "Will you listen to this crap"; if I want to get funny looks, I recite the whole Wiseman scene. (I usually save that for avoiding the nutter on the bus, though!)

Well, that shows how much you know, don't it? *g* Although, honestly, with the exception of "Sithspit!" and "I will now take 17 hours to evaluate my life," they don't get a lot of quotage from me. Just a lot of daydreamage.

It's so stimulating being your hat! Does that actually work on the nutters, or does it just make them go "hey! a kindred spirit!"?

*grinning* All my IM away messages are Rogue/Wraith quotes; I'm also extremely fond of Sithspit as an alternative expletive. I've also borrowed various of Wedge's lines for some of my stories :)

And yep, though the Jimmy scene from Highlander's even more effective *grinning evilly* "I killed ten thousand - and I was good at it!"

I do use "Kowakian-ugly monkey-lizard" with extremely annoying members.

And oooyea the Jimmy scene. Hail the Blue-Faced Love God! Lord, but he's hot.

*chuckles*

And yes, the Blue-Faced Love God IS hot. (Even hotter in the flesh!)

*has been kissed by self-same Blue-Faced Love God*

*sadly, does not actually remember it though*

I knew it! I knew the aliens were sucking our memories! Damn you, aliens! Give her back her memories!

Wait. Give me back her memories!

At least I have the photies to prove it happened. (He was presenting me with a prize for winning a writing competition. I think the shock of winning - and him presenting - sorta shortcircuited my braincell.)

Dude, that is so cool there are no words. What did you write? Totally understandable that you short-circuited.

It was a missing scene thingy from 'Methos', as part of a fic competition run by Highlander Down Under.
