Giggles and Other Stuff...
Jun. 14th, 2004 11:22 pmWell, first up, the giggle, gacked from
honorh:
It was the hamster kept for nefarious purposes and the thought of what
evildrem and
aspartaimee might (or might not) have done in my cornflakes that persuaded me to post...
(And for the record, you can pee in them to your heart's content - I don't eat cornflakes...)
Ahem.
I know. Little things and little minds!
After that rather strange item, on to the real reason for posting: A Shadow Games update.
I didn't actually spend as much time writing today as I could have done (partly because the boss and I actually gave up on work at 5pm! - gotta love a boss who says "Shall we go home?" half an hour before we're supposed to close up shop *grin*), but, I have managed (more or less) to complete chapter twenty.
Better still, I know - more or less - what I want to have happen in chapter twenty-one, and it SHOULD be a reasonably straight forward one to write.
What I'm not sure about, at least at the moment, is what's going to happen in chapter twenty-two. I also need to make sure I have all my logic finally, and firmly in place for the big climax. I *think* I know who's going to hit what, where and when, but I need a few more nails in it before it's watertight. I also need to decide who out of my supporting cast of misc. thugs is going to survive to see the end of the novel.
It'll all come good in the end - and I think I'm actually starting to believe that.
Bed now!
