The good news: I feel human again. Ten hours of sleep and a drop of about 15 degrees in the temperature will do that for you, I guess :)

The not so great news: I haven't got any further on Shadow Games this week - largely cos I've had a fairly sizeable potential plot hole pointed out to me so I'm having to go back and rewrite. Nertz. Still, better I know about it *now* than when I've finished writing the draft because the ending does somewhat hinge on this bit!

Glad to see you're feeling better (having missed the post where you said you were sick!)

Sorry about the rewriting... but it's just one more step along the way to a wonderful novel. (Sorry, I get philosophical when I have a fever.)

Like I said in the post, it would have been more of a nuisance to have to do this rethink at the end of the draft than it is now, when I don't have that much actually hanging on it. And I certainly hope it's going to be a wonderful novel :)

And thank you - I'm off to polish my lovely yellow skin ;) *grins*
