Correct Me If I'm Wrong...

athersgeoYou know, I could have sworn 'first thing in the morning' translated to, at the latest 8am-ish. 10am was when the mechanic showed up! 10! And I was up at 7am! AHG!
He's spent the last two hours scraping rust off wires which, he says, will cure my problem and save me £70 (cost of the new startermotor). I just have this suspicion that I'm going to go to work tomorrow...and still find I have starting issues.
On the upside (the mechanic's now done and been paid) he has said that if there are any problems with starting he will replace the starter for parts cost only.
So we shall see. I have to go out a bit later on - need to buy a copy of Impact magazine - so I'll give it a test drive and see how it goes.
I'd love to be able to add that today's been a productive morning. Unfortunately, it hasn't. I have managed to write about five paragraphs on Jingle All the Way and nothing on eps 7 and 8. I'm working this afternoon, so that probably puts the kibosh on my writing until this evening.
Oh well...at least I did get part 3 of Jingle posted. That's gotta count for something!
