OK. Ding ding, round number two: Given the Steven Seagal-like connotations of On Deadly Ground, I've been wracking my brains and...

Title option deux is Identity. PR fans will recognise it; the question is, does it sound like it could be a political/spy thriller type thing?

i like "identity" better than "on deadly ground." i think it sets up a more open mind heading into the novel...er...that doesn't sound like it makes much sense, but i swear it does. i need to stop talking before i confuse myself.

can i ask what this novel actually is about? i'm nosy, i know. shame on me. curisotiy killed the cat an' all that jazz. but i like to read stuff that's written by people i can react to. =)

*chuckles* I know what you mean; it's less obviously a genre novel title, whereas On Deadly Ground is fairly obviously going to have some sort of thriller/kickass content. (Of course, that's not to say Identity won't!)

You can certainly ask; whether or not I tell...*grin* At the moment, all I'm willing to float as far as content goes is that, essentially, it's all about relationships and people. (I know, it's a non answer!) As and when the first draft is completed, I will put together a proper plot summary that will be a little more informative - but until I'm done on the first draft, I'm going to be continually tweaking that summary, hence me not putting one up now.

Identity

Could be a great title, if it fits the novel. Sounds more general/philosophical than action/kickass, so if the story is primarily about relationships it might do very well indeed. Even more if it's about people hiding their identities?

*grins a little* There is certainly a little bit of that going around in the story, as well as some identity theft/creation stuff, so think it will fit - though it's not to say there isn't any action/kickass involved.
