bigtitch, evildrem, Chris, Katya and Margaret *waves to all* Spent many hours giggling and watching videos (also many hours passed out because Rachel + v.nice strawberry beer = very bad {aparently...}) and, while I don't think (fortunately for my sanity) I came away with active plot bunnies (no, this is not the cue for singing - please!), I do have a vague desire to actually write something in Highlander for the first time in two and a half years.
I've also decided that, since I've sat through it and since I'm 90% sure the update on IMDB that posted the info about it was done by either the man himself or someone very close to him, I'm going to post a review up of Hidalgo for Strictly Southworth. I actually wrote my comments up this morning (when go to sleep at 8pm you do, wake up at 6am you will) so I will type them and duly update the site this evening before I go to bed.
I also aim to write a little on Five by Five. I know that I said I was hoping to get an update of that done before I went away, but it just didn't come off - largely because Thursday and Friday just turned into manic work days. I WILL get the next part out fairly soon, hopefully that will be this coming weekend, but I have also said that I want to get some of Promises Made done this week, so if you're awaiting Five by Five, you'll need to be patient.
Finally, I am intending to get back to writing Bandit Country (I so need to figure out the title for this sooner rather than later) this week. I've had a week's break, so I should be nice and fresh and ready to spew out chapters...or something like that!
