As I'm extremely unlikely to add another complete book to this list, here 'tis...
Titles in grey have been started but not yet finished.
* indicates a re-read
The High King's Tomb - Kristen Britain
Borrowed Time - Roy Hattersley
These two were finished off from last month
OU: Essay 1 - Looking For Culture, Identity and Power
DS9: Twist of Fate
-Avatar bk1 - S D Perry
-Avatar bk2 - S D Perry
-Abyss - David Weddle & Jeffery Lang
-Demons of Air And Darkness - Keith R A DeCandido
-Horn And Ivory - Keith R A DeCandido
Twist of Fate is the first five stories in the virtual season 8 of DS9 in one volume; I'm now on the look out for the next books in the series!
The Dynasties of China - Bamber Gascoine
OU: Essay 2 - Communication in the Roman World
SWRS: Solo Command - Aaron Alston *
Jo To The Rescue - EBD *
Standing Stones - Stone Henge, Carnac and the World of Megaliths - Jean-Pierre Mohen
Irish Folk And Fairy Tales - ed. Gordon Jarvie
I was actually pretty disappointed with this one; while some of the stories were new to me, the ones that weren't new to me were not particularly good versions and there was WAY too much use of excruciatingly cod Irish accents
SW: Legacy - Broken
The Kite Runner - Khaled Hosseini
Gobbolino The Witch's Cat - Ursula Morray Williams
Does it count as a reread if I last read it over twenty years ago?
SWRS: Rogue Squadron - Michael A Stackpole *
Star Wars: Death Star - Michael Reaves & Steve Perry
This is the only unfinished book from last month that's still unfinished - I sometimes do that; start a book and then not come back to it for a few weeks. It'll be finished off in the next couple of days - so it'll make it onto a third list!
You can also safely assume there's some OU textbook reading that also featured - and some from my set texts, but nothing coherent enough to be worth of recording. That'll be next month, when I've finished playing OU catch-up...
All in all, a pretty varied selection - and *ALMOST* a "book" a day, which is not bad going, considering I only tend to read for an hour (while in the bath!) during the week. (Weekends are different!)
