1.) When you walk in your front door, which room do you enter?
The hall which is one of those long-narrow-pointless spaces - and yet we've managed to fill it with crud anyway!
2.)Do you have a dishwasher?
Yes - though I don't use it if I'm the only person home since it was bought when there were five adults living in the house!
3.) Is your living room carpeted or does it have hardwood floors
Carpeted - my mother doesn't like hardwood floors.
4.) Do you keep your kitchen knives on the counter or in a drawer?
In a drawer - they used to live on a knife rack, but that bit the dust when we revamped the kitchen (fifteen years ago - meep)
5.) House, apartment, duplex or trailer?
Semi-detached house. Or, for the Americans in the audience, duplex.
6.) How many bedrooms is it?
Three + something that will take a single bed (having used it as "my" room for nearly ten years, I refuse to actually describe it as a bedroom since it fits a bed and bugger all else!)
7.) Gas stove or electric?
Gas hob, electric oven/grill
8.) Do you have a yard?
No, but we do have a pair of extremely large gardens (one front, one back)
9.) What size TV is in the living room?
Average sized - from memory of shopping for the damn thing, it's a 23" screen, but as it's CRT (why yes, we're still in the 20th century!), it takes up rather a lot of space...
10.) Are your plates in the same cupboard as your cups?
Nope. Plates are over on one side of the window. Cups/mugs are on the other, immediately above the kettle.
11.) Is there a coffee maker sitting on your kitchen counter?
Yup.
13.) What room is your computer in?
My desktop is in the dining room. My laptop is in the aforementioned room that barely fits a single bed. My PDA is wherever I last left it!
14.) Are there pictures hanging in your living room?
Yes - a couple of prints of 1700s Bristol, a print of a map of Suffolk (don't ask), a seascape and a calendar. There's also a few random family pictures lying around.
15.) Are there any themes found in your home?
Junk? Is junk a theme?
16.) What kind of laundry detergent do you use??
Persil Automatic Non-Biological - it was the only washing powder that didn't bring the bother up in lumps and we still use it even though the bother's long since moved out...
17.) Do you use dryer sheets??
No - we don't have a dryer
18.)) Do you have any curtains in your home??
Errrrrrrrr... *counts* Currently hanging? Six pairs. Waiting to be hung if we ever get round to it? A further two pairs. The only rooms we don't have curtains for are the bathroom (unless you count the shower one) and the kitchen which may be getting a blind eventually.
19.) What color is your fridge??
Rather boringly, white
20.) Is your house clean??
Some bits are, some bits aren't.
21.) What room is the most neglected?
Probably the dining room.
22.) Are the dishes in your sink/dishwasher clean or dirty?
No dishes present.
23.) How long have you lived in your home?
Twenty-five years and seven months
24.) Where did you live before?
End terrace about a mile away - we moved to get the bother and I into a decent school catchment area (so not a new concept, then!) and we STILL ended up going to school outside the catchment because the two schools were either heavily over subscribed or the wrong side of the A38 from us!
25.) Do you have one of those fluffy toilet lid covers on your toilet?
*snerk* My mother would kill me.
26.) Do you have a scale anywhere in your house?
One in the bathroom, one in the pantry.
27.) How many mirrors are in your house?
Errrrr *counts* One per bedroom, two in the not-a-bedroom, one in the bathroom, one on the landing and one in the living room. I think...
28.) Look up. What do you see?
The office ceiling (being as how I'm at work). It'd be the dining room ceiling, if I was at home...

*snerk* No. We demolished it two years ago - the bother did it by simply leaning against the wall!
