General Information Post
Sep. 30th, 2007 11:10 amI've been a little hard-to-get-hold-of in the last couple of weeks. A combination of research and OU has been taking up my time and even when I have been online, I've only been around for short periods - and as I get into the guts of A Chinese Adventure, that's something that's probably only get worse.
For a variety of reasons (not least the noise box in the other room who's now reading me football fixtures and steadfastly refuses to take the hint that I really, REALLY don't care!), I'm doing most of my work off-line, so in a bid to make myself a little more available (!), I'm putting down a list of the ways you can contact me.
First and foremost, if you just want to keep track of how I'm doing with A Chinese Adventure in terms of my day-to-day progress, gripes, whinges, panics and other fun and games, mosey on over to my JournalFen account; you'll find that at: http://www.journalfen.net/users/athersgeo/ Anonymous posting is permitted, so feel free to comment even if you don't have an account there.
Big announcements will be posted here as well as there, so if all you want to know is when I reach the next stage, or when I reach the top of the GGB list, or any other major information, you don't need to go any further than this journal right here.
If you're looking for information on any of my fan works, websites or anything else, email is probably the way to go, after checking JournalFen. Best email is finkess@blueyonder.co.uk.
If you're looking to chat, I'm on the following networks:
YIM + AIM - These are on during the working day; I'm usually pretty free to chat, but ping me with caution - I may need to vanish! (YIM and AIM names listed in my profile here)
GoogleTalk - If I'm online at home, I'm on GoogleTalk (the username's the email address given above). Feel free to stop by and chat :)
Alt. AIM - Try for a Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday evening and you might just catch me; that's when I've been around most. (Alt. AIM name: Identiverse)
Hopefully, that all makes sense.
Time to get back to work...
