Not quite sure what my shoulder/left upper arm is doing, but it seems to have decided that this is the perfect week for it to misbehave. I spent most of yesterday afternoon with it in a sling and it's ached off and on today, too. I can deal with my back/legs generally being crap, but non-functional arms is a new and very unwelcome development.

Bugger.

  • Mistletoe and Wine - There's just two or three installments left so the aim is to get them finished off this weekend - Final installment is finished. I now need to work backwards and link it to everything else!
  
  
  • Estranged - I want to get chapter 3 finished and, if possible chapter 4 well started
  
  
  • Soaring Eagle - I want to try and get an installment (or two) done so that I can get this wrapped up this side of the sun going supernova!
  
  
  • The Truth in the Lie - this is the first of my big HL rewrites so it would be nice to get it properly spec'd out if not actually started
  
  
  • Hide and Seek - the rewrite is about two chapters from being finished; I know what has to happen in those two chapters so...

  • Mike - Needs a heavy overhaul before I can post it to the ID'verse site - I've had one go through this, but it needs some more work [it was VERY episodic!]

About the only good thing about the misbehaviour of my arm yesterday was it gave me the opportunity to watch Serenity (which I've had for about six months). There'll be a proper review-type thing later, but my main thoughts are:
1) Gotta love Mal
2) I really hate it when my DVD player refuses to let me turn off the subtitles
3) Interestingly, the Chinese curses aren't subtitled
4) I'm almost positive I'd have got more out of it if I'd seen Firefly
5) Still, ya gotta love Mal!

Misbehaving arm is still a little inclined to misbehave, although as long as I'm actually typing, rather than just randomly surfing online, it seems to be better.

I guess this would be the incentive I need to write more M&W! With a bit of luck, you should get to see my hard work either tomorrow or (more likely) Thursday :)
