Panic Is Setting In

So. Still haven't written my TMA story. It's due by the 5th of May, so yes, panic is beginning to set in. Half the problem is that I can write anything I like. The other half is that I keep being extremely critical of what I've picked out to write because I so very, very much want to ace this particular TMA (so that I don't have to subsequently worry too hard about the poetry). Gah. In the last week, I have selected - and subsequently rejected - no fewer than six different plot ideas. The best idea I've had has been "Noodle's Grand Adventure". That got rejected on the grounds that it's a bit on the kiddish side. The worst one was a pseudo sci-fi story about something found underneath the Sphinx. The rest have all been Woman's Weekly stories.

None of them sound or feel remotely as though they're the right sort of thing...

...and saying that, because there's no limitation on what I can choose to write about, for all I know any one of them would be a-grade material.

*tugs hair in frustrated fashion*

Fanfic is never this difficult!

In other news, I'm going back to the early morning gym visits. It will at least give me half an hour (or so) of guarenteed writing time first thing in the morning - and the regular exercise will be good, too!

Blah.

Wonder if anyone else is struggling...
