*looks sheepish*
Apr. 10th, 2007 09:18 pmUh. Yeah. Hi.
Been a while.
Been an even longer while since there was a meaningful post.
Oops.
I'm not sure that this post's exactly going to fill that gap, either - but hey; at least it proves I haven't vanished, been abducted by the fairies or simply just got lost wandering the twisted recesses of my brain.
OK; I know the last one's only a short walk at the best of times
I'd love to say my absence has been sparked by something fun. Alas and woe, however, for it has not been. I've just been up to my eyes in work (including a loonatic stretch around the end of last month that featured some very late finishes) and, more annoyingly, up to my neck in migranes. Out of the three of them, none of them have had the really dehibilitating headache, but all three of them have had me unable to see straight...which was midly worrying seeing as I was actually driving when the middle of the trio set in! (Given I'm typing this, you can rightly judge I got home OK, but it was certainly not a fun experience.)
So all things considered, the past three or four weeks have not been amongst my most fun filled.
On the upside, however (and there is a small upside), I have managed to complete a third draft of A Chinese Adventure (well, what else are four-day Easter weekends for?) and I have a few plot ideas floating around for some of my other writing. I will do a proper round up of that sort of thing, though, tomorrow.
Meantime, I think bath and bed is indicated.
