Bugger on two counts, really. Firstly, I swear this rewriting exercise is supposed to be making A Chinese Adventure longer - and I suppose it is getting longer in word count terms - but I've actually *lost* two chapters. *sigh*

Secondly, although I can make the location work (in historical terms) and have explanations ready and justifications polished...I still may have to relocate the whole. damn. story.

It's mornings like this that make me wish I hadn't got out of bed...
