athersgeo: Darth Vader meets Riverdance (Exasperated)

I've come to the conclusion that children's television is the spawn of the devil. It is cheerful and brightly coloured and just *NOT* what you want at 6:30 in the morning when you're trying to concentrate on not falling off the cross trainer. And the worst thing? I think I'm actually starting to quite like The Koobs...

The other frightening thing is that The Koobs et al are less brain breaking than Sky Sports' early morning programming, which often consists of idiots on skis doing things that no sane person should have even thought of doing. At least when we were in Australia I had the option of live cricket.

*mutters*

(and if you're curious about the subject line, one of the kiddie shows had a skiing rat who skied straight into the side of a dumpster.)

In other news, my tasks for the week are coming on apace.

For this week...
-Finish chapter 15 of Mistletoe and Wine
-Finish part 1 of Finding Home This is two thirds done; I should be able to finish tonight
-Next installment of Soaring Eagle - Today's fun
-Finish part 3 of Estranged - I'm about a third done on this so far; a good hour tonight should see me reach half way!
For Saturday & Sunday...
-Rewrite and rework A Chinese Adventure

*laugh*

OK; PR *IS* brightly coloured, but it lacks the purple dinosaurs...wait. No it doesn't. Gluto was sorta purple and dinosuary. Well it doesn't have randomly dancing things...ok. Putties and Cyclobots and...

Actually; you're right. I think if I were to be watching PR without the soundtrack that'd probably look at least as brainbreaking as The Koobs. I guess the difference is, I was introduced to PR *WITH* a soundtrack!

At least you're not having to work out and watch Boohbah at the same time! :)

Over some of the stuff I *do* get to watch, believe me, Boohbah would be an improvement.

Hoobs. Ah. See, it looks like Koobs on their van's number plate...

A Hoobapaedia...should I be worried that the show is now starting to make a little more sense?

*laughs* I know what you mean.

It's a Henson Workshop thing - so think Sesame Street or Fraggle Rock...
