Who? What? Where?
Feb. 19th, 2007 08:15 amGiven the disparate variety and number of projects I'm working on in some way, I'm going to take a moment (or several moments!) to take stock of what I've got done and what I still have to get done. I'm going to organise it by fandom; it's also going to take in one or two projects that have been on the back burner for a while, so bear with me; tis a long list ahead!
Chalet School
A Chinese Adventure
The red-penning is done and next weekend is booked for the rewriting work.
Mistletoe and Wine
Chapter 16 is nearing completion (I would guess it'll be ready either tomorrow or Wednesday), which just leaves two chapters remaining. Tentatively, I'm thinking this will be done by the end of February.
Finding Home
I haven't touched this in a while, due to other things going on, but I've now got the makings of the next chapter brewing, and I would hope to have that finished (and thus the first section, I think!) by the end of February. Then I can start planning the departure from Guernsey.
Bedtime Drabble
I have a bunny. I just need to nail its foot to the floor and write it.
Airwolf
Soaring Eagle
Depending on how things play out, I think I have either two or three installments left to write. At my current rate of progress (ie a post a month!), I should be done by June! (Perhaps needless to state, I'm hoping to be done a little bit sooner than that, given how long ago that story was begun!)
"Huey"
Currently only a working title; this is the original non-dying plot bunny. I had the original idea for the story when I was 16 and it's still kicking around now. Given the scope and size of this particular sucker, I've been hoping it would go away. But it hasn't. And I've run out of excuses for not writing it.
M.A.S.K.
Estranged
Part two was finally finished last night (it needs editing, but it's done!), which puts me at the half way mark. I've also got quite a large chunk of part three written, so I'm hoping to have this finished sooner, rather than later.
Bad Medicine
I'm currently drawing a blank on how this one's going to work; since it's chronologically after Estranged, though, I'm not too worried about it. Yet!
End Game
Mostly written and edited. I'll go over it again once Estranged and B.M. are written and posted. This will wrap up the Switch Back story and lead in to...
Changing Seasons
This is about two thirds done. I need to think about how I'm going to break it up; though. It's currently a rather monster-sized two-part story!
Far Away So Close
I have a skeleton outline for this story and a few snippets written out. What I need to do is spend some time fleshing that outline out into a proper plan of action, then start putting finger to keyboard.
Running on Empty
The planning is a bit further on with this one; it's about half done. Due to the complexity, though, I need to take the time to pin-board it out. I've got to juggle anything up to thirty characters, a minimum of five locations and there's a conspiracy (or two) as well. It's probably going to be the most challenging story I write this year - and probably the most fun, too!
Power Rangers
Identiverse Rewrite
This has been on the back burner for a while, but the bunny is back and bouncing. It's fairly low on the heap of priorities, but I am starting to work on the hows/whats for the rewrite of Identity, which may just show up before the summer does! (Watch this space...)
Star Wars
Isard's Revenge
Nope; I haven't forgotten about it. Once Soaring Eagle's finished, I shall make a stab at getting this finished.
Original
Freya's Daughter
The NaNo project. I'm roughly half done with editing. Another couple of mornings should see me finished off. Where I go from there, though, remains to be seen...
OU
TMA 1 needs finishing off and I need to get a good start on the next block of work. I have a little bit of time before the TMA's due, though!
For this week...
-Finish chapter 16 of Mistletoe and Wine
-Finish part 1 of Finding Home
-Next installment of Soaring Eagle
-Finish part 3 of Estranged
For Saturday & Sunday...
-Rewrite and rework A Chinese Adventure
There. That should keep me busy...
