Mixed Feelings
Dec. 15th, 2006 11:13 amOK. Not dead. Just been...elsewhere doing...other things. The writing is continuing a-pace, although I have slipped behind on M&W this week; I'm rather hoping to do something about that today. I'm also edging nearer and nearer to having a complete post for Soaring Eagle. And also, ALSO, I'm hoping to finally wrap up What It Takes.
That should keep me occupied this afternoon!
On the downside, I was supposed to be going to London to see friends and generally have fun but due to some rather sucky circumstances, that may now not happen.
On the upside, I suspect my parents will be at least secretly pleased because I think there were a few put-out feelings that I was going to be away for my b'day.
On the practical side, if I don't go it also means I won't have to strave into Kingswood on Monday or Tuesday to pay bills (since I can pay them tomorrow morning).
On the less practical side, it will mean I need to track down a bundle of addresses and do a last minute post run...which may mean I'm still having to go into Kingswood early next week ANYWAY. Blah.
Meanwhile, elsewhere, I am...amused by discussions - and further bemused by why someone even *likes* something.
No; don't ask me to explain that further for I shan't - though I suspect there are people reading this who might guess

Whatever happens I hope you have a good birthday. Your card didn't make it into the post until today, due to the spectacularly clever move of leaving it on my desk at work (if I had a brain I'd be dangerous, you know!)
