Now the bad news: I'm starting to panic rather badly about hand luggage and general "ohmygodimnotgoingtobeready" stuff.
So, really, it's about situation normal for me travelling.
I shall be putting my dinner on to nuke in a minute or two and then I'll have another couple of hours before I will REALLY have to go to bed (and it'd be better if I went sooner rather than later!)
Then, in the interests of my organisation hat efforts, here's THAT list's final update...
1) Finding A Friend
As this is a challenge fic for a challenge that ends on September 23rd, this definitely comes first. The good news is, I have it all planned; all I need to do is write it. (Hmm. That sounds like a common theme with my WIPs!)
It got retitled (several times) but it was done and posted on 09/22
2) Common Ground
For the same challenge, this one's a little less planned, but it's very much shorter than Finding a Friend. It's also set in Identiverse, so I really ought to know the characters well!
Done, dusted and posted 09/23
3) What it Takes
Part 1's written; part 2's about a third written and the rest's planned; part 3's a third written and the rest's planned; part 4's planned. I have SO got to just get on and write this.
-09/27 - Part 1's edited and posted
-09/28 - The final scene's now written
-10/20 - Part 2 is three scenes short of being finished and is what I'm going to be working on this evening
-10/26 - Part 2 is written but needs a *mahooosive* edit (it's exceedingly bloated). Part 3 is about half way done and I have a hope of getting THAT finished this weekend.
-11/02 - Part 3 is finished; Part 4 just needs one final scene adding to it. Then all I have to do (!) is edit all three unposted parts. The scene and at least some of the editing is part of today's plan.
-11/29 - Part two and part three have been posted; part four will now be posted sometime shortly after my return.
4) "Untitled" School's Out
Tied in to part 2 of What it Takes is another short character vignette. I've made a start on it; just need to find the energy to finish it off.

-10/26 - The edit's done and it's ready to be posted, just as soon as part 2 of What It Takes is posted.

5) Tomorrow's Promise
This just needs editing. It's all written and such, but there's not a great deal of point in doing the editing until 3 and 4 are sorted out since I'm not going to post it before either of them!
-10/26 - As I have the edits required for this one ready, I think I'm going to tackle it this evening so that it's ready to go when What It Takes is done.
-11/02 - The first editing pass was done; it needs a second edit, though (to remove the new typos introduced on the first pass!). It's also on today's list.
-11/29 - This is ready for posting; it's just waiting for me to be done with point four!
6) Mistletoe and Wine
Yes; it's back *grin* I'm not going to start reposting it until we get to December (*pause* Hmm; I may require a minion's help with that since I'm actually away for the first four days of December...but I can worry about that later), but before I can repost, I need to finish editing it, correcting the spelling (or at least standardising it - I think I've got three different spellings of Mimsie, for one thing!) and generally tidying it up. I also want to try and significantly add to it before I start the reposting process so that I've got at least SOME hope of being able to wrap it up before the end of December!
-09/28 - The editing is nearly done - I'm up to Christmas Eve evening and all I need to do is rewrite/redetail the Christmas service and check the consistancy of spelling for various German words.
-10/20 - The rewrite is done, and I have a chunk of new stuff written, too! I have HOPE of getting a bunch of it written this week now that work's calmed down significantly.
-10/26 - I have a minion! *waves to Liz* Who I owe a PM to (will deal with THAT in a moment or two!) Also, since I'm lacking in work-work today, I'm hoping to crack on with this.
7)A Chinese Adventure
I'm two thirds done on the first draft. It WOULD be nice to get that finished before the end of the year!
-09/28 - Chapter 7 is now finished, at least in draft form, and will be handed over to those who must be obeyed very shortly.
-10/20 - Chapter 8 is almost finished and chapters 9 and 10 are planned out in my head.
-10/26 - Chapter 8 is done. Chapter 9 is done. Chapter 10 is done. Chapter 11 is laid out in my head. I'm into the home stretch!!!
-11/02 - In case you missed it yesterday, the first draft of A Chinese Adventure is done.
8) Estranged
The third part of the first trilogy in the Buddy's Song universe. If I can get this finished and posted before I go on vacation, that'll be a bonus.
-10/20 - The opening scene is written after a sudden burst of inspiration yesterday
-10/26 - I've got a couple of scenes plotted out for a bit later in the story which I think I'm going to pin down this morning to get them out of my head.
9) Gloria
Again; it's written, though it needs a fairly stringent edit.
10) End Game
Again; it's written, it mostly just needs editing and preping for posting. But that really, REALLY can't happen until item 8's finished off.
11) Finding Home
This is the story of Anna and Joey and their friendship, inspired largely by several threads over on the CBB. It's not a mahoosive priorty, but the ideal would be if I can get the Guernsey section of the story (up to and including the departure) finished that will save my untimely demise! I'm *THINKING* that's going to be roughly four or maybe five chapters, depending on how I play it.
-10/20 - Chapter 1 was written earlier in the week. Chapter 2 is planned and I hope to get that written this weekend.
-10/26 - Chapter 2 was written at the weekend and posted on Tuesday. Chapter 3 is planned and I'm aiming to write that this coming weekend, unless sundry other things wrap up neatly in the mean time!
-11/29 - Chapter 3 got done, but I've stalled rather badly. It'll be coming with me, so I have some hopes of doing some while I'm away
And finally, here's my list of priorities for the next month:
1) What It Takes / Tomorrow's Promise
These both need posting. Nuff said.
2) Mistletoe and Wine
The goal is to finish this over the month of December (well it is a Christmas story after all!).
3) Soaring Eagle
It's languished in development hell for a loooooooong time and I really, REALLY would like to have the one remaining WIP from the original Identiverse done and dusted.
4) Estranged
I'm NOT looking to start posting this over Christmas, but I AM looking to have it at least two thirds written before New Year.
5) Finding Home
Getting everyone off the island and into Armiford is the goal here.
6) A Chinese Adventure
Editing is about ready to begin. My initial aim is to have something ready (probably the first four chapters or so) so that I can submit to GGB and see what they say. After that, the aim is to work through the rest and just polish, polish and polish again.
So, that's the deal for me for the next few weeks.
Time to go nuke that pizza and crack on with the packing/writing/panicking!
