I knew there was a reason why I didn't iron very often. My back is now whinging like mad. Drat it.
I'm going to have half an hour's sit down, then I'm going to go to the gym, taking pretty much all of what's left of my revision with me. I'll probably also treat myself to nachos (or something) for lunch while I'm there. (Just because I *CAN* cook, doesn't mean to say I have to!) I've also got to come home via Tesco to pick up the milk and bread for the 'rents.

Date: 2006-10-15 03:15 pm (UTC)Between a nice stretch at the gym and then a nice comfy sit down, the back does seem to be mostly better now - and what's left will be cured by the hot bath I'm planning for a little bit later :)

Hope the gym trip doesn't make it worse

Date: 2006-10-15 03:19 pm (UTC)I keep trying to convince my parents that what we really need is a tumble dryer. That way we wouldn't need to iron more than a small handful of (admittedly mostly my) clothes. Haven't had much luck with that yet, though...
Actually, the gym trip helped. What I tend to find is that once the soreness passes, the stiffness sets in - so some nice and relatively low impact exercises can do wonders. All I need to do now is have a nice hot bath a bit later and I should be back to normal operating standards *grin*
