Twenty random songs taken from my MP3 player on shuffle. I did cheat a little - there's only one Marillion song included.

  1. It ain't all for nothing/life ain't written in the sand

  2. So sorry, I never meant to break your heart

  3. Ich bin dein neus Auto/Dein Sexy-körperspray

  4. Talking to yourself/And nobody's home

  5. Hello me, it's me again

  6. But there's got to be an opening/Somewhere here in front of me/Through this maze of ugliness and greed

  7. Little darling close your eyes/You know there'll be no compromising

  8. One thousand and one yellow daffodils/Begin to dance in front of you/Oh dear

  9. I know it's hard to keep an open heart/when even friends seem out to harm you

  10. If I could relieve those days/I know the one thing that would never change

  11. You wouldn't even recognise me any more/Not that you knew me back then

  12. I don't need an education/I learned all I need from you

  13. But it ain't a sin to drink when you're suffering

  14. Tongue-tied and twisted/Just an earthbound misfit

  15. You gave me nothing/Now it's all I got

  16. It was a flight on the wings/Of a young girl's dreams/That flew too far away

  17. A little voice inside my head/Said "Don't look back - you can never look back"

  18. Action is/His reward

  19. It's Janie's last I-O-U

  20. If we could see tomorrow/What of your plans

Proper update later, when I've ticked off a few more things on my list of "to do today"!

Yup, yup, yup, it's actually The Atari's version of it (but I also have the Don Henley original somewhere!) and yup :)

The Atari's are good, but I actually like the Don Henley version better myself.

Unusually for me, I actually prefer the Ataris' version, but that's partly because familiarity breeds contempt, and Don Henley's version was used as the incidental music on a TV show here, so I know it really, really, REALLY well. Plus, The Ataris' version's great for cross-training too!

16 - Why do you have the Spiderman Theme in your collection? *ignores the fact that she had the Beverly Hillbillies in hers*

*giggles* Because it's on the Spiderman OST - two versions. One from the cartoon and one as rocked up by Aerosmith.

Taking a guess here that #3 is from a song by "Die Toten Hosen"; no idea which one, I don't know them that well. So?

If no-one gets it overnight, I may do some additional lyrics for it (and the other ones that haven't been got)
