Last night:
2 sets sit ups
This morning:
15 mins tredmill
2 sets squats
11 mins xtrainer
Since I was down there at lunch time, I proceeded to have an ohsohealthy lunch of natchos and black coffee (!!!), but it beat the heck out of having noodles yet again or (worse) having roast lamb (yuck). So... And the interesting thing is, although it wasn't a large plate of natchos, they defeated me. I couldn't finish them. Which was a pity in one sense, since they were most excellent natchos with perfect guacamole and salsa, but it does suggest that my stomach's turning into slightly LESS of a bottomless pit than it used to be, which bodes well for actually keeping the weight off!

I'll grant you I don't have a full draft of my TMA yet, BUT, I do have several pages of notes from which a draft can be constructed. And frankly, there is only so much about Roman social history you can absorb in one morning.
Right. Time to knock off some of the writing tasks...

Date: 2006-08-20 05:00 pm (UTC)As you may already know, I've been trying to lose weight for almost 2 years now, with moderate success lately. :( Anyway, on our trip to the US last month, I honestly TRIED to eat healthy (good thing I like veggies and chicken!), and the first 3 days in LA really got to me. Cooked restaurant breakfast, eating out for both lunch and dinner made me feel bloated and, well, not very good. I could TELL my body had a reaction to all the fat and stuff.
But at the end of 24 days? *sigh* I noticed that I'd gotten past that bloated feeling, that I was starting to want bigger (or at least more fatty) portions again ... so not good. Blegh.
The result? I regained 10 pounds in a little over 3 weeks. I'd kinda calculated that much, but after almost 3 weeks back home I'm still carrying 6 extra pounds. Grrr.
Good luck with your further weight loss, though.
