Thunder...
Jul. 4th, 2006 04:26 pmWe have now got thunder.
On the one hand, this is a Good Thing, in that a good storm might just clear a little of the atmosphere and make life a little more livable round here.
On the other hand, the last thunder storm we had (which was while 'Nessa was staying) just made the humidity ten times worse because the rain was doing the insta-evaporate thing.
And, on a third hand (she says, doing her best impersonation of Kali), it means I shan't be switching on the 'puter at home until it quits.
Since I'm supposed to be finishing off my TMA tonight, this could be a bit of a bugger. The writing part's not an issue - my laptop battery's fully charged! - but printing might be...
(And for anyone interested, the fridge is now finished and all I have left to show for it is half a bucket full of cold water!)
