I was up early, as per my normal routine, with the idea of knocking some of my tasks off before going to the opticians. Unfortunately, between issues with Access and being rather headachy I didn't exactly get much done and by the time I'd finished at the opticians, said headachyness was well into the migrane terratory. I then took migrane meds so that I'd be able to finish shopping - and virtually knocked myself unconscious. Trying on clothes when two thirds asleep = not so much fun.

The end result of this is that when I got in at lunch time, I more or less didn't pass go, didn't collect £200 and went straight to bed (so anyone I replied to earlier, if I didn't make a heap of sense, you now know why!), which wrote the afternoon off completely.

  • Redesign the Strictly Southworth Database and fix the maintenance!!! -- This is half done, but I need to have a further think about what I'm doing

  • Update Strictly Southworth with info about Escape and write the very, very long overdue review of Trailer: The Movie

  • Have my annual contact lens checkup at 9am - I was right, my proscription HAS changed

  • Buy clothes suitable for going out to meet clients

  • Read Essay 1 for OU and have a look at CMA1 - I'm half way through the essay, but I haven't looked at the CMA yet

  • Tidy up chapter 4 of A Chinese Adventure and write chapter 5

  • Finish Christmas Eve for Mistletoe and Wine

  • Cook tea (Saturday night)

  • Tidy both desks and pack up old (dead) laptop

Edited to add:

  • Post valentine stuff - this now goes on Monday instead, but I still need to package it up

  • Wash coat

  • Buy HB pencil to complete CMA form with!

Think it's going to be a nice early night tonight.
