Well, the snow has gone and in its place? Rain. This is what Bristol in winter is more normally like. Not that it makes it any more pleasant - just much less likely for me to require thirty layers and still feel cold.
It's also ugh because I'm still not sleeping terribly well, which makes me tired and somewhat cranky.
Ugh too, because we're into the part of the year when it doesn't seem to get light until lunch time and then an hour or so later it starts getting dark again.
On the other hand, I actually quite like December. When I was in school, it meant that term was coming to a close and we were doing fun stuff like classroom decorating and sending Christmas cards. There were class Christmas parties (well - any excuse to eat!) and (in primary school) a class advent calendar - which was always fun. I always, without fail, got to open the window for the 16th. In secondary school, it meant choir concerts and carol services and, often, having only half a day of school on the 16th. And even though I've been out of school ten years (eep), there's still an "end of term" feeling to December. Christmas is coming and the three days I like working the most (those between Christmas and New Year) are nearly here: Peace, quiet and the ability to get to work in ten minutes instead of the normal fifteen or twenty.
And wow, that was rambling.
*shakes head*
I need more sleep.
On the NaNo front, I managed 6144 words in the month of November. Rather pathetic by my standards, really, though it SO does not help spending more or less two weeks feeling like ****. I'm now going to be pushing to get it finished over the next month or so to get the bunny to go away. I'm also going to be pushing to get Mistletoe and Wine sorted out (CBB'ers reading this: Do not fear; tomorrow's installment is just about ready!) and yes, I'm hoping to get Five by Five finished too.
Since I only have a day's worth of work today and the boss is out until next Tuesday, those plans look pretty good right now!

You're a Slytherdor! You are a natural leader and have the personality to back it up. Often people are hesitant to approach you because they feel that you will reject them. You have a bit of a temper but most of the time you're able to keep it in check; however when you are really pissed off, people better watch out. In your life you have a lot of things you want to accomplish, whether it's for yourself or another cause. You can be determined in trying to pursue this goal but your morals are too steady to allow you to be absolutely ruthless. You don't let many people know this, but you actually like the idea of chivalry (but you try to keep this buried) and you try to live your life with honor. You don't back away from tough decisions. Your weakness is that sometimes you can be arrogant, you forget about the 'lesser people' and this leads you to underestimate your opponents. With the charisma of a Gryffindor and the ambition of a Slytherin you can be great in life!

That's actually surprisingly accurate, I think. Particularly about my temper!
