1. Your ten favorite songs by your favorite band.
In no particular order

1. Wild Is The Wind
2. You Had Me From Hello
3. Silent Night
4. Born To Be My Baby
5. Bad Medicine
6. Bed of Roses
7. Love Lies
8. Livin' On a Prayer
9. Without Love
10. Have A Nice Day

2. Your ten favorite songs by your favorite artist.
Again, in no particular order

1. Ballad of Youth
2. In It For Love
3. Church of Desire
4. One Light Burning
5. Harlem Rain
6. Undiscovered Soul
7. Father Time
8. The Answer
9. Take Me On
10. Stranger In This Town

3. What song are you listening to right now?

Billy Idol's greatest hits - specifically, his cover of "Don't You Forget About Me"

4. What song were you listening to a year ago?

Randomly, none. Though, then again, I had just finished watching Paycheck - since the entry this time last year was a film review!

5. What are your top ten favorite covers?

1. "Don't You (Forget About Me)"- Billy Idol (Simple Minds)
2. "I Got You Babe"- UB40 + Chrissy Hinds (Sonny + Cher)
3. "What I Am"- Emma Bunton (Eddie Brickell)
4. "Rockin' In The Free World"- Bon Jovi (Neil Young)
5. "Mustang Sally"- The Committments (Sir Mack Rice)
6. "Dreams"- The Corrs (Fleetwood Mac)

And at that point, I give up: I'm generally not a particular fan of cover versions.

On the to-do list front...
1) The NaNo plan is just about done - it will almost certainly get fleshed out as I write, but the plan is currently 13 chapters long.
2) The next two installments of the Francie saga are now planned out and I have some scenes sketched out for part three (which currently has the rediculous working title of The Trouble With Triplets - I SO hope I can come up with a better title!)
3) I have the missing part of Five by Five now about half done, but it needs maaaaaaaajor editing. But still, progress.

Dreams of the Sun is what I intend to work on when I get home.

Hurrah for lots of writing done :)

The Trouble with Triplets sounds quite fun - nicely alliterative ;)

It is very nicely alliterative - but it reminds me far too much of an episode of Star Trek!

Here's hoping I can manage some more writing now I'm home :)

Ah! Not being a huge Star Trek fan that wouldn't have occurred to me!

The Trouble with Tribbles it is. I have a tribble. Somewhere...

Maybe you could cross it with that particular episode of Star Trek, one of my favourites.

Your plan sounds dreadfully organised, mine is a couple of words for each section, and the sections aren't really chapters...although they may end up being. I am seriously scared as 1/11 gets nearer.

My plan might sound organised, but I know from past experience, what I usually end up writing is anything BUT what I planned! If you page back through my lj to March/April/May time last year, you can see me tearing my hair out because Shadow Games was rapidly spinning out of control. Thinking over the finished product, there is a grand total of *ONE* scene that is in there that was actually in my original plan - and the irony of that one is it was a rewrite; it wasn't in the first draft!

And to be honest, your plan doesn't sound that different from mine - mine might be longer, but at least a third of mine is explaining how old people are and how they're related to each other.

The idea of bringing Tribbles into the CS is amusing - though I think I'd only do that if I could come up with a way of getting Worf into the CS too...just so's I'd got a Klingon to annoy!

Worf is the father of a new girl. (well I know Alexander isn't a girl, but maybe there is another child lurking around somewhere) Either that or the new art teacher! Herr L made me think of a Klingon anyway.

*giggles hysterically*

The idea of Worf teaching art... I think Klingon art probably contains too much in the way of blood for Miss A to be altogether happy with the idea!

No doubt...although her reaction would be interesting.

Just be glad I didn't suggest him for music!
