I am inspired and I have a plan. This is promising. WHat's slightly less promising is that I'm out of the country for the first week of November! Still, I do have gagets to get round this minor issue...
I did it unofficially last year - as a means of trying to motivate myself into getting things finished, but it didn't work out too well...
As for what you're letting yourself in for, it's actually, only a target of about 1650 words per day. As long as you've got a strong idea and plenty of inspiration, you'll be fine :)
That's actually the beauty of NaNoWriMo, the *what* you write is not so important as how much of it you do *grin*
It's a gigantic writing exercise - and if you write drivel, well as long as you get to 50,000 words, you've done it. (Though I think it does have to be semi-coherent, rather than just 50,000 repetitions of the same word!)
The Blyton plot bunny sounds interesting, though. Mine's looking at being an EBD fill in-ish thing.

Date: 2005-10-12 01:23 pm (UTC)I do have an idea, based on a Blyton character actually. Need to plot a bit more and do some research into dates and times.
