I'm having a fun old week here. The weekend was muchly fun - I got to see
weird_bird's newly finished lounge (complete with curtains!) and a friend from uni who haven't seen in ages (*waves to Claire*) and then there was the Bath Book fair and the whole "let's stay in Bath overnight" on the spur of the moment (thank heaven for conveniant opticians, random clothes in carboots and Waitrose!), which led to a muchly, muchly fun and entertaining conversation with Lesley and arguably the worst night's sleep I've had in a long time! (The 9:30pm false alarm was OK; I was awake. The 8am false alarm was OK; I was awake [just about - though I might have been the only one!]. Then 1:30am one, however, was not OK: I had JUST gone to sleep. The drunken morons who set the alarms off should be very glad I don't know who they are...)
The drawback to such a hectic weekend, though, made itself known on Sunday: Back spasms.
And then, this morning? My speedometer ceased functioning.
I'm wondering quite what is going to happen next! (And all that is without the fact that at somestage, I have to wash the Morph-bits and Gromit-dust off my car...)
