My Father Is Insane...
Aug. 14th, 2005 08:24 amWe're clearing up the bother's bedroom prior to redecorating it. This has meant pulling everything out of there, dusting it (very necessary) and in some cases, washing it (at some stage, this means we have roughly five-six pounds [weight] of lego to clean!). Amongst other things stored in the bother's bedroom? Virtually our entire teddybear collection.
Some of our teddies have, regretably, seen vastly better days. Most are (were) filthy, many are going bald and the moths have been at some of them. Now, as much as I like them, I think one or two of them really, really should be given their last rights. One prime candidate for this was a mouse who was more moth hole than mouse. Both mum and I agreed that it was fit only for an honourable burial. Not my father. He fished it out of the blacksack and it's now sitting beside his alarm clock.
And this, ladies and gentlemen, is a 59 year old.
