List five of your own idiosyncrasies and then tag five friends to do the same
1. I check my email with an obsession worthy of a better cause. I don't mean once an hour - I mean once every five minutes!
2. I have to listen to music to go to sleep - I *can* sleep without, but I sleep better and longer with.
2a. Best cure I know for insomnia is to actively concentrate on the music playing. The harder I try to concentrate the more disfocussed my brain gets and sleep takes over. Tis a neat trick!
3. I chew when I'm stuck. If I'm writing with a pen/pencil, I'll chew the top of that. If I'm typing, it'll be one of my fingers (usually, my left ring or little finger).
4. I can listen to the same song over and over and over again (I think the record currently stands at 9 hours!) and still manage to hear something new in that song at the end of it!
5. When I handwrite, I'm prone to actually writing out my standard typos - for example, spelling with "wiht". Also, my handwriting is sufficiently bad that I can come back to things I've written even an hour later and not have the first clue as to what it says. AND, it's also possible for my lowercase k's and lowercase h's to look remarkably similar (notoriously, I had a sentence that actually said: "Nick hissed." unfortunately it looked remarkably like "Nich kissed."...)
Hmm. Think my handwriting is my most idiosyncratic feature somehow...
