Meanwhile, in other news, I am now into my third month of virtually no writing. This is beginning to bother me. I don't think there's been a period where I haven't written (and, more importantly, haven't WANTED to write) since I was 10. Are all my stories told all of a sudden?

It can't be my imagination's on the fritz - not given the fact that I spent last night dreaming about Q being depressed and needing Beverly Crusher to add something to the water in the Continuum. Actually, wait, that's not imaginative so much as just downright weird...

Erm... LJ entries are writing, albeit not the story writing you're discussing. You have faith to know it'll come when it's ready and not a moment sooner.

LJ is a very different sort of writing - I know it's technically the same act (both involve fingers on keyboards moving rapidly to create typed words!), but a rant about my car troubles is about as far away from writing a story as you can get. One requires a non-functioning car, t'other requires some imagination...

You're right, though; I should just have faith that it'll come.

maybe your muse and my muse are off having a grand old time without us. Mine showed up to get me started on a short story then ran off again. The bitch
