I think my eyes are crossed. I've just caught myself up on my OU work and have read (in more or less one go) two entire units in the text book. This wouldn't be quite so bad, but for the fact that both units are rather full of such gems as "[But] if the sixties were different then we would need a different explanation." Honestly. *headdesk* In between the BS there's some very interesting stuff, to be fair, but sometimes, it can be a challenge getting to it...
In other news, we have baby robins in the garden. Not quite sure where they're nesting but they've got no fear of us (the humans occupying the house) and, more importantly, no fear of Felix. This is a Bad Thing. They sit on the washing line and in the apple tree and mock Felix. This is a Very Bad Thing. At least one baby robin has already paid the price - I fear there may be more. Anyone on my flist got any suggestions as to how to stop a cat from hunting birds short of keeping her indoors?
