Well, the car is now functional. At a cost of nearly £140.

*sigh*

So not my three months as far as car costs go. Provided the damn thing behaves, it's GOING to be replaced in November.

I have every sympathy with you. Our car goes in tomorow for them to investigate what is causing the funny noises it keeps making...and it sounded like a sharp intake of breath job!

Thanks - hopefully yours won't be quite so drastic.

As for mine, I think if it conks out again and/or requires any more repairs between now and November, you will probably hear my screams in Lancaster.
