8. Cannon Beach, Oregon USA
What's there to see/do/have fun with at Cannon Beach (besides a really cool place name)? :)

10. What is your favorite painting?
Oooh. *thinks for a few moments* Genrewise, I like landscapes over pretty much any other type. Specific paintings...I think probably Monet's Waterlillies. Or just about anything by Monet, in fact. (Why yes, I did very much enjoy the Met's Money collection *grin*).

8. cannon beach is one of the most beautiful places i have ever been (bodega bay in california is a close second, but that was where hitchcock filmed "the birds") it's pacific coast and streches for miles, you can walk in the sand and have the ocean hit your feet. i know you can do that many places, but cannon beach is special.

*grin* I'll go with the first option, or the second optin, omiting the peanut butter (so NOT a fan of peanut butter!)

8. A really nifty vacation spot. Keswick. OMG the prettyness.
Oooh yes. Yes. Yes. Spent several good vacations in that general part of the world and Keswick in particular. Very nice vacation spot indeedy :)

10. Something you've always wanted to know about me. What was your favorite childhood toy?
Hmm. It's between my teddy, my train set, the jointly owned lego [shared with my brother] and my brother's B-Wing fighter! (I wanted an X-Wing but was told it wasn't a 'girl's toy'...*pout*)

Without the peanut butter, the syrup would probably just roll off. Maybe... nutella? That could work.

Have you seen the pencil museum? The pencil museum rules.

Nonsense! Girls fly them, too! Hmph.

Hmm - or Cadbury's Chocolate spread. Mmmmmmm. Yes, I think that would work very nicely :)

Have you seen the pencil museum? The pencil museum rules.
At one time or another, yes - but a long time ago. I must go again.

Nonsense! Girls fly them, too! Hmph.
I know. But I had old fashioned parents - I think the only reason I got a trainset was because my dad is so nuts on trains that it was inconceivable we wouldn't have one, even when it turned out I was a girl!

Cadbury's chocolate spread? Dear god, that sounds yum. And I have terribly fond memories of the pencil museum, probably disporportionate to its actual appeal. I may have been hungover at the time.

*grinning* Cadbury's chocolate spread is the best substance to spread on...well, pretty much anything.

As I have developed a stationary fetish, a pencil museum is somewhere I can have a lot of fun (hangover or no!) :)

What's there to see/do/enjoy there? :)

10. Something you've always wanted to know about me. - What kinds of things do you surround yourself with that inspire you to be creative?
Music - I've always got some sort of music on, wherever I'm working. What that music is varies incredibly, depending on what sort of mood I'm trying to create.
I also tend to have piles of random reference books on hand, like dictionaries (English, German, Russian, Spanish, French), grammar guides (English, French and German) bibles (King James edition and a modern version), an atlas, a book of nursery rhymes, the Cricketer's Who's Who for the current year (invaluable source for random names!) plus any books I've got that are completely relevant to the project I'm working on (like the Highlander's Watcher's Guide).
Lastly, some form of drink - usually diet coke/pepsi but sometimes coffee and occasionally alcohol.

Ahhh yes. Food of supreme beings (unless you drop them into your coffee, in which case, not so good and a waste of both the coffee and the oreo!).

10. Something you've always wanted to know about me. - who was your first love
Guy called Ian who I went to university with and who I knew through the cricket club. Unfortunately, he already had a girlfriend and as far as he was concerned, I was just one of the lads.
