I just received a piece of spam. Not exactly a newsworthy event in and of itself, but the content...

I get all the interesting spam. No adverts for viagra, me!

Words to live by (especially the part about endowing a cat). What are they selling?

I have no idea. There was no advert. Just the insane ramblings of a diseased mind.

(Though yes, I did like the line about endowing a cat - which I initially misread as endowing a college *WITH* a cat...)

Certainly every college needs a good cat.

Interesting. :-) I wish my spam was half as *ahem* good.

Not only do I get tons of viagra (and similar stuff) ads, I also get hit on to buy fake designer stuff, get plied with penis enlargement paraphernalia (especially suited to a female, right?), and what's worse, tons of stuff in Portuguese -- just because I visited a Brazilian website ONCE, over a year ago! For heaven's sake, I don't even understand the language -- and there's no way to set my spam filter to scan for foreign languages and send directly to trash. Or is there?

No idea on the spam filter.

As for the spam, I get some truly, truly odd stuff, both at home and at work. I think my favourite is still the duck shaped personal massager...
