Date: 2005-03-14 02:46 pm (UTC)Dan Southworth's an actor/martial artist/stunt guy I ran across while watching Power Rangers (I'm a fan from waaaaaaay back when the show first started airing - it's my guilty pleasure) and I got caught up between being interested in his character on the show and interested in him...and now I run a website for him (sadly unpaid and unofficial but with his seal of approval!).
The line "kicks butt for a living" was something someone (I forget who) said about stunt guys (no, wait - I think it might have been Ray Park or Nick Gillard of being asked to choreograph lightsabre duels [I am SUCH a sad case]) and I thought it went pretty nicely with a still from a fight scene between two people who do get paid to kick butt. Plus, my fandom very much tends to be anything that has some degree of butt-kicking going for it. (If that makes sense - it sounded good until I typed it out...)
