Movie Review Part Deux...
Mar. 5th, 2005 09:55 pmWhat can I say? I've been saving these up for a rainy day!
Where to start? It's about as different from The Bourne Supremacy as I can get without going to Disney. It's a love story. It's a music movie (love me some of the soundtrack songs).
And I liked it.
There were some funny parts. There were some parts that I can relate to (aspiring novelist and aspiring songwriter isn't that different - it still takes some luck before it all comes off and before the luck tends to come much rejection and many door slams). There were some sweet parts.
And hey: A character called Rachel who's a complete bitch in need of anger management classes. (I just wish I looked like Bridget Moynahan!)
I can't say anything too profound about this movie because, to be honest, it's not a profound movie. It's not something that makes you think and, to be honest, it's not something that really grabs you and makes you care one way or the other, BUT, it's a feel good movie, in the sense that you get to the end and you feel good.
OK. Enough with the brain cotton candy. I'm off to go watch me some violence and butt kicking.
