Haven't touched SG yet this week. Not sure I plan to.

I've currently got "Francie" seriously on the go again, having introduced a new character. (For CBB'ers passing through: I'm *HOPING* to at least be able to relieve some of your curiosity today.) And, as promised, I am working on "Five by Five", though, that's taking a little longer to get going.

Unfortunately, I have a committee meeting this evening, which is going to bugger up my writing plans a bit. Nertz.

Read 'Francie' (as of yesterday), liked it very much. I'm impressed by the very different tone and language in it as opposed to your TF, Highlander, and SG writing. It's an accomplishment to adapt to the feel of the original like this. (While I'm not familiar with Chalet School, I'm sure your adaptation is accurate, as your adaptations of the American action/adventure/thriller worlds of PR, Highlander, and SG are.) Am interested in seeing the next parts of that story.

I'm hoping you make progress with 5x5, would dearly like to see another chapter.

Thank you :) The change of tone is not so much of a problem shifting from American to English (and in many respects, that's exactly what it is!); the problem comes when I need to then shift back. (I haven't forgotten how I managed to turn Rick and John into two 1950s school girls...!)

I have some updates on Francie, which I'll email to you.

I think tomorrow's 'job' is going to very much be getting the next chapter of Five by Five done, so *HOPEFULLY* there'll be a new chapter up on Thursday or Friday. That would be my goal, certainly :)
