Good News/Bad News

Bad news: My top jaw is numb
Good news: My dentist thinks he's fixed the problem
Bad news: It required THREE anisthetic injections
Good news: He's extracted the nerve, so once the numbness wears off, that should be it.
Bad news: Of course, the numbness will last a while
Good news: Which gives me the perfect excuse to eat things like creme caramel and chicken soup.

Now, if my lower jaw (where there is nothing wrong!) would stop getting sympathy pains, I'd be a happy(ier) bunny...

Good luck with it all - I've had horrendous teeth problems so I sympathise!!! Indulge in warm tea (goes down better than hot!) and soup!

I am/have been; trouble is at the moment, I daren't drink anything too hot because I have no feeling whatsoever my my top lip - so for right now, it's soft drink through a straw...

And you definitely have my sympathies - it's definitely not fun.
