Well, it's happened; it's finally happened.

I have a novel on my hands.

I have a heroine; I have a hero; I have a nice group of villains. I have a plot. All up, in fact, I have everything I need to write this - except one thing. Time.

So, here is the deal. As of now (until I get the first draft of BC done), all works in progress that aren't posting are put on hold. Also on hold is Soaring Eagle (which is progressing at a snails pace, so you suppose anyone's gonna notice?). That leaves me with Five by Five, Promises Made and Fire and Ice. In order of priority, Fire and Ice is up first (I'm aiming to get it finished this weekend), followed by Five by Five (aiming to get the bulk of that written ASAP), then Promises Made.

Things like the DVD commentaries for Jingle All The Way and Time Lost will get finished over the course of the next week or so, when I have time.

I will keep my LJ updated with progress reports. Wish me luck!

Congratulations, how exciting! Best of luck, I can imagine a full-length novel will be a lot of work and quite a challenge. And of course, very rewarding (hopefully financially rewarding too).

Too bad the other things will go on hold, but first things first.

It's certainly going to be a challenge, but it's one I know I'm equal to (Identity, Max Force and Hide and Seek are all novel length, and Jingle All The Way is not too very far from it) and, as you say, very rewarding. Fingers crossed, I can pull this off.

I am sad that things like Far Future are going on hold (though I will do my best to get Five by Five finished!) - but...if this goes well, I may find myself with far more time to write...

Oh, and on a completely unrelated note, you might be interested to swing by http://www.stuntrev.com/ when you get home. There's a video clip you might be interested in ;)

Thank you *huggles*

I think, before I try getting publishers interested, I'll wait until I have a complete first draft - but a little nearer that mark I may well pick your brains. *huggles again*

I am also a completely dizzy bimbo: Thank you.

*note to self: Do not try responding to things when still in shock at seeing snow fall in MARCH!*
