I do NOT need plot bunnies.

I especially don't need plot bunnies for song fics.

I especially ESPECIALLY don't need plot bunnies for song fics where the fic timeline and the song's release date are the wrong way round.

Naturally, there are now THREE of the damn things bouncing up and down in time to what I'm listening to. And one of the songs is just about THE perfect song for the overall arc of what I'm writing - the lyrics just FIT damnit. Unfortunately, the song is new. Very new. The time code I'm writing in is not. It's four years ago.

*tugs at hair*

I'm also not entirely sure that one of the bands concerned are terribly character-appropriate, though they're a better fit than SOME of the things I've run across recently...

Gah.

And, oh look. Another one's just sprung up.
