Wow - What A Crappy Weekend...

2 sets lats
10 mins bike @ 100+rpm l5
I think the less said about the weekend the better, frankly. I ended up spending most of Saturday afternoon spark-o on my bed (I was muchly knackered), consequently missing the end of the test match. Which sucked. Then Sunday...is it enough to just say it didn't go quite to plan?
Though I *WILL* say that the gym has a very nice coffee bar and extremely comfie leather seats, AND the good taste to show test match highlights - so I did at least get to see what happened! (And I'm further convinced that Monty is an excellent find for the team, and not just for his bowling!)
About the one thing I *DID* manage to do yesterday was finish off one of my diddy stories - and the other one's about half done.
Oh well. Next weekend's going to HAVE to be an OU orgy.
In other news, the diet and fitness kick is one week old and I think I'm going pretty dern well. I'm finding it easier and easier to get out of bed at 5am and I'm beginning to feel the benefit actually in the gym - I'm not quite ready to kick the levels up a notch on the xtrainer yet, but I think the bike level's got to go up (this morning didn't feel like I was trying at all!). So yay, for this is good. I'd got decently fit before I went on vacation in March and I shall be happy to be back there :)
And, on the weightloss front...*drumroll* Five pounds down.
YAY! :)
I'm rather hoping that come the September Gather, there will actually be a noticable difference in my shape...
OK. I'm in the office on my lonesome until about 10:30, so I need to knock off the list of work the boss has left, AND I'd like to take advantage of her absence for one final edit of the next piece of The Coming Storm before I post!
Better get down to it...
