Man; I did not want to get up this morning - I was quite pleased to be awake (any day when your dreams feature a cat who likes to sleep in a running ice maker, Gary Dourdan, the husband of a friend telling you that the cat's perfectly normal, and there being some secret organisation involved in it all [ok, that would be my current writing project intruding] is a day to be relieved to wake up!), but not so pleased at getting up.

Bleh.

And now I ache.

On the upside (and there is one!), my MP3 player's random function chose to remind me of a bunch of songs I haven't heard in a while (mmmm "Love Lies" and "The Bartman" backtoback!) so it wasn't all bad.

And there IS the knowledge that, ultimately, I will start to feel the benefits of doing this. (From what I remember when I started in January, I think I started to feel better about it about a week in.)

AND (see, lots of upside) I do get half an hour or so's writing time first thing in the morning which is letting me progress and does make up for the half hour or so of writing time I'm losing in the evenings.

On the title front (see yesterday's whine), I think (THINK!) I have it now sewn up.

*looks at the internet radio station*

wth? "The Lion Sleeps Tonight"?! How in the name of all that is unholy is that 80s *ROCK*?!

OK. I'm off to find my Marillion CDs...
