Good Lord...
Apr. 13th, 2010 11:51 amI really didn't think it was possible to judge hair colour over the phone, but I've just got off the phone with someone who, if she ISN'T a blonde, really should be.
And I do mean that in the vaguely pejorative sense.
Every second word was "like" and she had a rather nasal giggle to boot. I did begin to wonder if I'd some how slipped into a sitcom.
I just hope she was actually rather less dizzy than she gave the impression of being and that my car really is booked in for its service and MOT!
In other news, things have been going more than somewhat crazy in the real life department lately. Some of it's work related, some of it's home related, and some of it is related quite heavily to the date. None of it's anything I much want to get into - mostly because it's incredibly boring and tedious - just wanted to wave a flag that says![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
athersgeo is still here, just in case anyone was entertaining the possibility of a search party or something.
With a little bit of luck, things should start to settle down come Juneish. And I will say this much, for all the upheaval and whatnot, I have managed to get a surprisingly large amount of writing done...shame none of it's ready for sharing yet!
