When We Were Beautiful
Nov. 14th, 2009 10:57 amJust finished watching the DVD that came with BJ's latest album and...interesting. Verrrrry interesting.
I'm glad I saved it for a morning when I had the house more or less to myself so there was no-one to complain about me singing along!
But it does also leave me with a few more questions about Alec John Such's departure from the band. It was something that made little sense at the time and having now seen WWWB, it makes even less sense. It's also something that just wasn't even alluded to in WWWB - even when they were talking about the Slippery When Wet/New Jersey circus, and given what they revealed about that (and the aftermath) it's a little surprising that there wasn't even a sideways mention of it.
Definitely a head-scratcher, that one.
