Mar. 10th, 2007 08:38 amI've just got my first TMA back for my current course. It pulled an 82 which, annoyingly, is just three marks off being an A. (Actually, that's the story of my life!)
What's amused me so much about this mark is as follows:
-I got nearly 100% on part three of the thing, which was a reflection on the writing process...in which I wrote complete and utter BS!
-I got nearly 100% on the first part of the thing, which was a freewrite which was supposed to inspire the story in part two...which I mostly wrote *AFTER* I'd written part two!
-I lost marks on part two for...not describing things.
It's the last one that amuses and depresses me the most: I've been writing for twenty years and in that time, every single teacher, editor, beta and tutor has said exactly the same thing: Rachel needs to write in more detail.
Still. I know what I have to do for the next one...
